The Estudio_Escritorio (Studio_Desktop) project research on the evolution of the artist's studio from the architectural and spatial view to the digital screen. The vertebral element of the research is the desktop of a computer treated as a physical and virtual space unifying the characteristics of contemporary creation: a container of transits, of entanglements, of stratification of material for the process, or in this case, the culmination of an exhibition.

The economic precariousness linked to technological democratization has been a determining factor in the gradual spatial reduction of the artist's studio, which has been compressed to adapt itself to the frame offered by a PC or, even more, to the 5 inches of a smartphone. Underlying, such an accumulation of documents shows the minimization of the real object in front of the light and fast virtual file. But all these environmental transformations don’t deny a processual analogy with the past, that is, we can find numerous relationships between compartments, documents, tools, processes...
